Mexico quo vadis ? Politics, parties and the state after a decade of transition
With the organization of the XVII Dia de Mexicanistas on november 18th 2011 The Centro de Estudios Mexicanos at the University of Groningen wants to contribute to the debates held in Mexico and abroad on the state of democratic transition in current Mexico. For that purpose it has invited a number of internationally renowned scholars to discuss different dimensions and interpretations of the Mexican transition, especially the country’s changing (political and legal) institutions and practices. The conference is open to colleagues and students and free accessible.
