The EU Platform invites you to the event: The Spanish presidency of the EU Council.
As you know, the run-up to the presidency doesn’t go without hiccups. First, the Spanish government suddenly announced national elections in July, that will ask much attention and energy. Moreover, the forming of a trio with Belgium and, especially, Hungary gives the prospect of a potentially more complicated EU decision-making process in the upcoming 1,5 years, as we have seen with the European Parliament’s response in the last few weeks. These topics will be addressed from different angels, just like topics such as Europe’s democracy principles in connection with the question of Spanish membership in history.
Of course, just like always, the reception will be organized around the culinary specialties of the new presidency. We will have tapas and drinks, all the way from Spain!
Join us at the event!
