We need highly qualified teachers to teach Spanish as a foreign language at the elementary school level in North and South Carolina.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Professional degree equivalent to a Bachelor?s Degree in the USA (4 yrs. of formal education at an accredited university).
- Formal teacher training: To satisfy this requirement, a teacher must receive his/her pedagogical preparation/training as part of a four-year university program or as an additional year of formal, full-time university study.
A formal teacher training program typically includes a supervised practicum/internship period of several months to a year as a student-teacher or teacher-in-training. Short-term institutes and programs that grant special certificates for teaching specific subject areas (e.g./TESOL) or teaching experience alone, do not constitute adequate teacher preparation and do not satisfy the requirement of formal teacher training.
-Be a non-US resident or citizen.
-Advanced written and verbal proficiency in English.
-Three years of FULL TIME QUALIFIED teaching experience.
