In this artist’s presentation, the sculptor shares the way she sees the world of nature, and the world around us, with slides of close-ups of ordinary items, such as floating ice in a glass, a close-up of a tree bark, or the reflection on a teaspoon in a restaurant, and how these images influence her work, with sketches, and drawings, to the final piece.
This lecture includes a current project that involves residencies in various countries such as Japan, the USA, Spain, and France. Details are shown about the different cultures, and the resulting sculptures influenced by them.
