This lecture focuses on archival research, which is necessary for writing genres that are in between history and fiction, such as biography and autobiography. The following talk will center on the work of three Latin American writers (Jorge Ibargüengoitia, Sergio Pitol and Augusto Monterroso), as well as the research carried out by the lecturer in his collection of essays Las ruinas de Babel.
