The Department of Modern Languages and Comparative Literature at Baruch College of the City University of New York invites applications for a tenure track position for an assistant professor in peninsular Spanish language, literature and culture.  We are seeking a candidate who is able to teach all areas and periods of peninsular literature, as well as Spanish language courses at all levels. Candidates with the experience and ability to integrate visual culture, and an interdisciplinary approach in their teaching will be preferred. In addition to these, a strong research portfolio will be essential.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have a Ph.D. at the time of the application. Candidates with a demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity are particularly encouraged to apply.
